Geir Uvsløkk;
Geir Uvsløkk is a French literature scholar. He is currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Oslo, studying gender discourses in contemporary French literature. His doctoral thesis discussed perversion in the early works of Jean Genet. He has also been working as a translator for the Norwegian edition of Le Monde diplomatique since 2004, and he has translated Jean Genet’s essays on Rembrandt and Giacometti into Norwegian.
Mark Spitzer;

has translated and published books by Jean Genet, Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Georges Bataille, Arthur Rimbaud and Blaise Cendrars. He is a poet, novelist, essayist and fish-writer who can be found on reruns of the “Alligator Gar” episode of the Animal Planet series River Monsters. He is a professor of Writing at the University of Central Arkansas, where he edits and publishes the legendary literary journal Exquisite Corpse Annual. Some of his recent books include Writer in Residence (University of New Orleans Press), Season of the Gar: Adventures in Pursuit of America’s Most Misunderstood Fish (University of Arkansas Press), and The Genet Translations: Poems & Posthumous Plays (Polemic Press).
